Banff National Park is Canada’s first national park and offers mountain views with brilliant blue lakes that will take your breath away. At any time of the year, this park is one of the most beautiful places on Earth.

Chichen_Itza, Mexico

Darcy Lewis is balancing a fellow traveler she met on a bus trip to a Mayan temple at Chichen Itza.

Chichen Itza is located on the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico. The name means “at the mouth of the well of Itza“ and is the second most visited archeological site in Mexico today.

The Kukulkan Temple (shown) is now included as one of the new seven wonders of the world and is Chichen Itza's largest and most important ceremonial structure. It is also known as El Castillo, the castle.

Capitol

The Touch for Health Metaphors for the Quadriceps are, "What do you need to step up to or, are you taking steps that are too large? What in your life is like climbing stairs or a mountain?"

Earl checks Gail's Quads on the Capitol steps. Health Care reform was being debated in the U.S. Capitol behind us. This spot is just in front of the spot where American presidents take their oaths and are inaugurated.

My talk at the conference was an Open Letter to Pres. Obama. My statement is that safe, effective and relatively low-cost Complementary and Alternative Models like TFH and the Energy Kinesiologies are not being considered in the debate and should be.

Lincoln Memorial

Darcy Lewis in a poignant moment with an icon of American history. She touches Abraham Lincoln, the author of the Emancipation Proclamation and the president during the American Civil War which freed the slaves and saved the Union.

This photo is the winner of our Washington Balancing the World Contest. Nice work Darcy and friends!

Notice that Abe Lincoln is signing his initials 'A' and 'L'. He had been a signer of the enabling act for the creation of Gallaudet University, a school for the deaf, earlier in his career and it remained important to him throughout his life.

Orbital Satellite

Earl with his nephew, Braxton, standing in front of a telecommunications satellite under construction at the Orbital Satellite Manufacturing Facility. This facility was near the location of the 2009 TFHKA/EnKA/IASK Conference.

The outfits do two primary things: first, they keep stuff from falling off of you and contaminating the satellites. Secondly; they dissipate electromagnetic static energy so that you don't zap a satellite's circuits with too much energy!

Earl once attempted to hire Braxton, but Braxton decided he wanted to program satellites instead!

Braxton helped Earl solve a couple of technical challenges that arose during the conference. Thanks Braxton for your assistance and your hospitality!

The Mall

Darcy Lewis on the National Mall. The Mall is the open space that runs between the U.S. Capitol and the Lincoln Memorial. It is a great spot to walk and is the center of American History.

This land is also where America displays its wants, needs and protests. Millions of people have protested and camped on this land in sight of the American law makers. These demonstrations have often changed or influenced the direction of American history.

Darcy, maybe you have started something with this single balance in the middle of The National Mall!

Clinton Gore Speech Marker

In a special moment, Earl with his brother, James, in Havre de Grace, Maryland. They are standing in front of the monument celebrating where former-President Bill Clinton and Vice-President Gore celebrated the 25th Anniversary of Earth Day.

They were here celebrating the restoration progress at the headwaters of the Chesapeake Bay.

James is an Educational Consultant working in New York City and the northeast. He has spent much of his life in Australia where he once was head of the English Department of a private school located in Gold Coast. In addition to living in NYC, James has lived in London and Paris.

As the philosopher and scholar, James has had a great influence on Earl who says, "I can attribute many of my efforts to achieve more noble goals as a result of my brother, James', influence."

Air & Space Musueum

Balancing in front of the first Space Shuttle, the Enterprise, at the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum near Dulles Airport.

Dr. Charles Crowder, D.C. is a long-time member of TFHKA and recently served a three-year term on the Board of Directors. He practices in Silicon Valley in the town of San Jose, California.

About the Space Shuttle, both Charles and Earl said, "I can't believe how big it is!" The Enterprise did not fly into space but was the prototype used to develop the later Shuttles.

This light seemed representative of the challenges facing the U.S. as we work our way through challenging times and seek a happier and healthier future.

The Washington Monument is named for the first president of the U.S., George Washington. It is 555 ft. (169.294 m) tall and is both the tallest stone structure in the world as well is the world's tallest obelisk.

Norma and Alien

Those of us in the Touch for Health community have always known that Norma Harnack is out of this world. Norma comments, "I dare to go where no one else has ever gone before and then some."

In these photos, Norma, our own space cadet, continues our recent space theme and balances and brings a smile to a Klingon while he holds weapons in both hands. Norma was attending the Star Trek Convention held this year in Las Vegas.

GA Guidestones

The Georgia Guidestones are sometimes referred to as the 'American Stonehenge'. The Guidehole in the middle stone is showing light from the Rising Sun during the Autumn Equinox of 2009. Earl balances his friend, Claude Taylor, a high school friend whom Earl had not seen for 40 years prior to this experience.

The enigmatic Georgia Guidestones were erected in 1980 by an undisclosed group. As an instrument, the 19 ft. (5.8 m) tall granite stones serve as a clock, compass and calendar.

They also have 10 statements carved in nine different languages that 92% of the world's population can read. The stones are seemingly aimed at a post-apocalyptic society attempting to regroup and plan a future.

The statements and their mysterious builders have proven to be controversial and the stones have been defaced with recent graffiti.

Center or World

Not far from the Georgia Guidestones is the spot the Cherokee Indians called the Center of the World. Trails radiated out from this spot and was an important spot for meetings, worship and trade for the Cherokees.

The spot was also a popular roosting place for the now-extinct Passenger Pigeon.

The Cherokee name for the spot was, Ah-Yeh-Li A-Lo-Hee.

The Cherokees were removed from the area in 1838 after Gold was discovered in North Georgia relatively close to this spot.

Here, Gail balances our friend, Claude.
