eTouch for Health is a powerful software tool that is assisting students, instructors and practitioners learn and apply the Touch for Health kinesiology energy-balancing protocols. In this level 1 workshop, you will explore the different areas of eTouch: the TFH Reference; Muscle Reference; Key Charts and Illustrations; and the Session-creation system. The workshop begins with the instructor demonstrating the use eTouch in the conduction of a 14-muscle balance-as-you-go, goal-based balancing session using the standard TFH balancing techniques. During this class, each participant will conduct a balance while using eTouch in a hands-on 14-Muscle balance.

eTouch for Health Level 2 – Exploring Session Options

June 4, 2008 Half day: 2 – 6 pm

The Touch for Health practitioner needs flexibility when conducting TFH balances. Sometimes a practitioner uses 14 muscles and another time may use 42 muscles. If you are a student or instructor, you can use eTouch to create sessions using just the TFH II or III muscles. A practitioner may wish to include a goal with the session (the recommended TFH way) or they may want to focus on a particular request made by the client. eTouch provides great flexibility to the practitioner in defining both the types and scope of a balancing session. This workshop focuses on the different types of sessions that be created and the preferences that TFH practitioners can set in eTouch to match their individual needs.

At the conclusion of this workshop, students should be confident in choosing session options and creating & conducting sessions in a way that reflects their preferences.

Laptops recommended but not required.

Objectives:

• Students learn how to customize eTouch to reflect their personal preferences
• Students learn specific techniques for creating sessions other than the standard 14-muscle goal-based balancing session
• Students learn how to create sessions for class practices using only the TFH II or TFH III muscles
• Students learn the difference between setting up goal-based and condition-based eTouch balancing sessions
• Students learn how to mix and blend eTouch techniques
• Primary goal is to make the workshop participant confident and comfortable with the multiple eTouch session options.

eTouch for Health Level 3 – Client Management & Advanced Techniques

June 8, 2008 Half day: 1:30 - 5:30 pm

As Touch for Health matures and becomes closer to the mainstream of healthcare in the future, the TFH practitioner will need professional tools, like eTouch for Health, to assist them. Part of the duties of a TFH Practitioner is to manage the information related to their clients. eTouch stores contact & address information, old session results and specific information that describes a client’s general health condition. You can also record specific conditions and diagnosis that the client has already received from professional healthcare providers. These are important so that you can be aware of the specific health issues of your clients as you work with them. Some advanced eTouch features are also attached to these entries.

eTouch contains advanced features such as the Priority and Extend Systems. The Database Priority System is displayed in the TFH Reference and implemented in the Session Wizard. Here, the Priority System can be used to shape the type and scope of the session as well as used to select techniques based on priority. The dynamic workings of the Five Element Metaphors are examined in the workshop. The Extend System is also examined in this workshop where a basic introduction to EFT is located. The final advanced exercise presents the process of submitting a session to the online John Thie Memorial Research Database. At the end of this workshop, the student should have a thorough understanding and working knowledge of the Client Management and Advanced Techniques that are part of the eTouch for Health software system.

Laptops recommended but not required.

Objectives:

• Students learn which specific information is entered and tracked for each client
• Students learn how to import client lists into eTouch
• Students learn how to import client portraits and before-and-after photos

• Demonstrate Submitting a session to the online JFT Research Database
